Bangkok - Democrat Party deputy secretary-general Thavorn Senniam urged the Supreme Court to explain the whole story of the two-million-baht bribe.
He also encouraged the Supreme Court to take legal action against the wrongdoer as the case affects the courts credibility.
The Supreme Court president Virach Limwichai ordered the setup of the fact-finding to look into the case.
Sarawut Benjakul, deputy secretary-general of the Justice Office, held a press briefing on the bribery case, saying the cash was yesterday brought to the court by a politicians lawyer.
The two million baht were put in a snack box which was given to the Supreme Courts official who later gave the box back to the giver after finding what was in the box.
The Supreme Court is considering three major cases: Thaksin Shinawatras Ratchadapisek land purchase, Yongyuth Tiyapairats election fraud, and Wattana Asavahems Klong Dan corruption.
