            อีกไม่กี่เดือนข้างหน้านี้ ฟุตบอลโลก 2010  ก็จะเปิดแข้งแข่งขันกันแล้วครับ ที่สาธารณรัฐแอฟริกาใต้ ระหว่างวันที่ 11 มิถุนายน-11 กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2553 เป็นครั้งแรกที่จะมีการแข่งขันที่ทวีปแอฟริกา โดยแอฟริกาใต้เป็นประเทศที่ 16 ในโลก และเป็นประเทศแรกในทวีปแอฟริกาที่ได้จัดการแข่งขัน 

                สำหรับทีมที่เข้ารอบก็รู้กันเรียบร้อยแล้วว่ามีทีมใดบ้างและอยู่สายใดบ้าง  สำหรับวันนี้อยากนำเพลงของการแข่งขันมาฝาก พอดีฟังเพลงนี้มาเกือบครึ่งเดือนแล้วครับ ฟังทีไรคึกคักทุกทีแถมได้ฝึกภาษาไปในตัวด้วยครับ  ชื่อเพลงว่า Wavin' Flag  ขับร้องโดย  K'naan   คาดว่าช่วงใกล้การแข่งขันเราคงได้ยินเพลงนี้กระหึ่มแน่ๆครับ

ที่ลูกบอลการแข่งขันครั้งนี้มีคำว่า  JABULANI

JABULANI เป็นภาษา isiZulu มีความหมายถึงการเฉลิมฉลอง (to Celebrate) ซึ่งเป็นภาษาท้องถิ่นของหลายๆ ประเทศในทวีป แอฟริกา โดยการออกแบบลูกฟุตบอล JABULANI นั้น ใช้สีสันบน JABULANI ถึง 11 สี ซึ่ง เลข 11 นั้น หมายความไปถึงหลายๆ อย่าง อย่างแรกเลยที่นึกถึง ก็คือ ผู้เล่น 11 คนในทีม นอกจากนั้นยังหมายความไปถึง ภาษาทางราชการของ 11 ภาษาของประเทศใน แอฟริกา

ซากูมี (Zakumi) สัญลักษณ์ประจำการแข่งขันนี้เป็นเสือดาวผมสีเขียว โดยชื่อมาจาก

• Za - รหัสประเทศของประเทศแอฟริกาใต้

• kumi - คำมีความหมายว่า "สิบ" ในหลายภาษาในแอฟริกา

วันเกิดของซากูมีคือ 16 มิถุนายน พ.ศ. 2537 ซึ่งวันที่ 16 มิถุนายนเป็นวันเยาวชนในประเทศแอฟริกาใต้ ส่วนปี 2537 เป็นปีที่ประเทศได้เริ่มระบอบประชาธิปไตย ซึ่งซากูมีจะอายุครบ 16 ปีในปีที่จัดการแข่งขันฟุตบอลโลก^[2]

สีเขียวและสีเหลืองทอง เป็นสีที่ปรากฏในเครื่องแต่งกายของชุดทีมชาติ
